Privacy policy

This policy explains how Atlas Funding (“Atlas”, “we”, “us”) collects, uses, stores and discloses personal information through atlasfunding.com.au, and how you can access or correct it. We handle personal information in accordance with the Australian Privacy Principles in the Privacy Act 1988 (Cth).

What we collect

Enquiries. When you send an enquiry we collect the details you enter: your name, business name, email address, phone number, preferred contact method and the description of your funding purpose, amount and timing. If you choose to attach a planning scenario from one of our tools, we receive the scenario summary you reviewed before sending. We do not ask for bank statements, identity documents or financial account numbers through this website.

Planning tools. Our calculators and planners run in your browser. Figures you enter are not sent to Atlas unless you save a scenario to a signed-in workspace or attach it to an enquiry. Saved scenarios are stored against your account and are visible only to you and to site administrators for support and security purposes.

Website analytics. We use Google Analytics to understand how the site is used, including pages viewed, tool starts, exports and enquiry submissions. Analytics events do not include the financial figures you enter into tools. Analytics uses cookies and similar identifiers; you can block or clear cookies in your browser at any time.

Technical information. Our hosting and security providers log IP addresses, browser type and request details to keep the site available and to detect abuse.

How we use it

We do not sell personal information and we do not use enquiry details for unrelated marketing without asking you first.

Who we share it with

We share personal information only with service providers that help us run the site (web hosting, email delivery, analytics and security), and only to the extent needed for that service. If, after discussing your enquiry, you ask Atlas to introduce you to a lender or finance provider, we will tell you what information will be shared before it is sent. An enquiry on this site is not a lender application, and nothing is sent to a lender without your instruction.

Our website is hosted by a third-party provider. Some service providers store or process data on servers located outside Australia. Where that happens we take reasonable steps to ensure the provider handles the information in a way consistent with the Australian Privacy Principles.

Storage and security

Enquiry records are stored in a private database on our hosting platform and protected by access controls, encrypted connections and rate limiting. We retain enquiry records for as long as needed to respond and to meet record-keeping obligations, then delete or de-identify them.

Access, correction and complaints

You can ask to access or correct the personal information we hold about you, or ask us to delete an enquiry, through the enquiry page. We will respond within a reasonable time. If you are not satisfied with how we handle a privacy concern, you can contact the Office of the Australian Information Commissioner at oaic.gov.au.

Changes to this policy

We may update this policy as the website and our services develop. The date at the top shows when it was last changed.
