ATLAS / PLANNING TOOLS

Business loan calculator.

Explore how a business loan’s amount, interest rate and term affect the monthly repayment and total interest.

Understand the assumptions.

This calculator uses a constant nominal annual interest rate, monthly compounding and equal monthly payments at the end of each month. The fee shown is paid upfront, separately from the loan.

The business loan scenario fully repays the principal over the term and has no final balloon. Use the equipment calculator if you want to model a balloon.

It excludes ongoing fees, changes in rate, taxes, variable payment schedules and lender-specific calculation conventions. Values are rounded for display, so an actual payment schedule may differ.

Calculator questions

Is the example rate a lender offer?

No. The default rate is an illustration. Enter your own rate assumption or a rate from a specific written proposal.

Does this calculate what I can borrow?

No. It calculates repayments for the values you enter. It does not assess income, expenses, credit history or eligibility.

Why might a lender quote differ?

Fees, payment timing, interest conventions and rounding may differ. Confirm the actual repayment schedule and full terms with the provider.
