ATLAS / THE TOOLKIT
Good decisions start
with clear numbers.
Work out repayments, compare loan costs or find when cash may run short. Choose the question you need to answer, then share the result with Atlas to discuss your funding needs.
Start with the question, not the tool.
What will the repayments be? The repayment calculators cover a fully repaying business loan and equipment finance with a balloon. Both show the monthly repayment, total interest and total paid.
Which proposal costs less? The business loan comparison lines up two quotes with different fees, frequencies and final payments. The refinance calculator checks whether switching an existing loan actually saves money once payout and establishment costs are counted, and the buy, rent or finance comparison puts three ways of getting the same machine on one page.
When will cash run short? The 13-week cash-flow planner is the starting point for most timing questions; the companion guide explains how to build one. The cash runway calculator, working capital cycle calculator, contract and payroll cash-gap planner and purchase-order and import cash-gap planner each isolate one cause of a gap, and the purchase-order cash flow guide walks through a supplier-to-customer example.
Debt, invoices and equipment.
Can the business carry the repayments? The debt-service headroom calculator compares operating cash with current and proposed repayments, and the debt and maturity calendar shows the months where balloons and expiries stack up.
How much can unpaid invoices release? The invoice finance cost calculator estimates the advance on a single invoice after fees, and the invoice portfolio simulator builds a funding base across a whole ledger, allowing for disputes, ageing and customer concentration.
Will the machine pay for itself? The equipment utilisation break-even calculator converts a repayment into billable hours, and the balloon payment planner works out what to set aside each month for the final payment.
Ready to talk? Use the funding preparation checklist to organise purpose, cash-flow evidence and documents, save scenarios in your workspace, or build a short brief with the funding finder.
Questions about the tools
Are these tools free to use?
Yes. Every calculator and planner on this site is free, and none of them requires contact details, a login or an application. A signed-in workspace is only needed to save and reopen scenarios.
Do the tools tell me how much I can borrow?
No. They model the figures you enter. Borrowing capacity depends on a lender’s assessment of cash flow, trading history, security and existing commitments, which no calculator can perform.
Which tool should I start with?
If you have a quote, start with the loan comparison. If you are planning a purchase, start with the matching repayment calculator. If the problem is timing rather than a purchase, start with the 13-week cash-flow planner.
Planning estimates only. These tools do not determine borrowing capacity, eligibility or approval. Rates, fees and cash-flow assumptions are illustrative or supplied by you.
